My Mum, an older Sister Johanna and a younger Sister Judith
Matthew wasn't ill before he died but he was having seizures, it was thought that it might have been epilepsy, but on the Saturday when he got up before having his breakfast he took some more seizures in the house & he went in a ambulance to the accident and emergency hospital and a few minutes later they told us that they were trying to resuscitate him but it failed and told us that he had died at 12.15pm. After a week Matthew had a post mortem on him & the post mortem revealed that he had died from an embolism, it was a bad day for everyone that was close to him.

My older brother Matthew he was my best friend & like a father figure to me when my dad died in 1989 i do miss him but i think everyone will miss him but we can still remember the good times we had with him, he liked Motherwell FC he went every home games with Bob and what games he could go to during the week. He liked going to all the concerts with Paul & his other friends, when he was drunk he used to annoy me but he would do it when he was sober i probably annoyed him 1000 times more, its quiet in the house without him takeing over the living room me & my mum would fight me for the remotes & win so he could watch football probably and play his ps2 football game, my mum and other people that new him say he had the life of Reilly, i need to buy a digital camera or a scanner so that i can put other pictures of him. I'll put a picture of the certificate so that can see the brick & remember him when we want, that all his friends got him stephen kammy aka Stephen C, Jim, Paul, Gerry, Martin, Mark Ian, Jim, Kenneth. Thanks for doing it for him I'm sure he would have loved it.

Hey big man was thinking of you today, cup final week and its Celtic v Motherwell and i am missing the pre match banter. Gerry is obviously hyper ventilating as the week goes on. Anyways you are still missed big chap and we all still think of ya in Centre one.

How do matty, just to say had a wee boy on the 8th of December (the same day Lennon got shot) called him Rory if ma sister hadn't bet e to it and called her middle yin Matthew i would have named him after you big man, missing you looking after me at nights outs and gigs etc.. MFC!
Popped down to see you yesterday Big Man, with Brian. Stevie was there as usual. Pint of Best at the Bentley in your honour, as is now customary. Hope u like the new tunes. Think of u each and every day buddy.

Judith and I were talking just the other day about you and how you were looking down watching over her. I bet you are having a ball up there. I don't follow footbal but believe you were mad on Motherwell, well my favourite footballer from childhood was Davie Cooper, so when you boys are sitting having a little refreshment together please say hello to him from me!!!!
